Crash Alert: Colorado man killed in single-SUV collision in Gretna
GRETNA, NE – A 44-year-old man from Colorado lost his life to a single-SUV collision that happened on I-80 Monday, KLKNTV said.
Preliminary details show that the 44-year-old man was driving west on I-80 when he lost control of his car and drifted to the right side of the road before crashing into a ditch.
EMS crews hurried him to Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, where he later died. He has since been identified as Kevin Smith.
The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.
