Crash alert: Man convicted of drunk driving in fatal collision in Washington County
BELLEVUE, NE – A driver involved in a fatal collision in Washington County a year ago has been found guilty, the Omaha World-Herald reports.

38-year-old Christopher J. Gorham of Bellevue was convicted Tuesday of committing motor vehicle homicide while driving drunk.
Authorities said Gorham was driving a Ford F-150 pickup truck on U.S. Highway 75 near Blair on Oct. 27, 2020 when he crossed over the center line. The pickup crashed head-on into a Subaru Forrester driven by 35-year-old Shawn Kimbrough of Springdale, Arkansas. Kimbrough was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tests showed Gorham’s blood alcohol level was well above the legal limit at the time of the wreck. He pleaded no contest to causing Kimbrough’s death and will face up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced in January.
