Crash Alert: Driver hydroplanes, fatally crashes into another vehicle in north Lincoln
LINCOLN, NE – A driver hydroplaned into oncoming traffic and fatally collided with another vehicle on Antelope Valley Parkway near the Bob Devaney Sports Center Monday afternoon, according to KOLN.
The driver of a red sedan was heading north when they hydroplaned and crossed into oncoming traffic, where they collided head-on with a blue pickup truck at approximately 1:28 p.m.
First responders transported three people to area hospitals, where the sedan driver and a passenger died. The driver of the blue truck suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The Lincoln Police Department is investigating the incident.
