Crash Alert: Police investigate fatal DUI crash on I-80 in Omaha
OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, the Omaha Police Department is investigating a deadly DUI collision that happened on I-80 near S 24th St on Saturday.
Maison King was driving an SUV the wrong way on I-80 when he collided head-on with a sedan around 1:30 a.m.
Rescue crews pronounced a passenger from the sedan, Ross L. Lewis, 26, dead at the scene. They transported the sedan’s driver, Kyle Arnold, 30, to an area hospital, where he died. They transported another passenger to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. King was taken to an area hospital as well.
Authorities will charge King with DUI, two counts of motor vehicle homicide, and other charges when he is released from the hospital.
