Crash Alert: Driver of stolen Jeep collides with another vehicle near Morton Meadows

OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, two drivers were hurt in a crash involving a stolen Jeep at S 45th St and Center St on Sunday.

The driver of a stolen 2021 Jeep Compass was heading east on Center St when they strayed off the road and slammed into a power pole before colliding with a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe around 1 p.m

Rescue crews transported both drivers to an area hospital, where the Jeep driver was admitted with a fractured leg. The Hyundai driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered a concussion and a laceration.

Authorities are pressing charges against the Jeep driver.
