LA VISTA, NE – Police in La Vista have released additional details regarding a multi-vehicle accident that occurred last Wednesday morning, reports WOWT.
This is an update to a previous story.
Police said the two people killed in the wreck have been identified as 76-year-old Dale Starry and 28-year-old Marina Krol, both of La Vista.
According to investigators, it appeared that a vehicle going at high speed hit another vehicle from behind at 72nd Street and Harrison Street at about 8 a.m. That caused a chain-reaction crash that involved a total of six vehicles.
Starry was driving one of the cars involved in the wreck. The other drivers were able to walk away on their own, police said.
The intersection was shut down for about six hours while crews were clearing away the wreckage.
