Crash alert: Woman found dead after car crashes into tree in Dakota County

SOUTH SIOUX CITY, NE – Authorities are trying to determine the cause of a fatal car accident in Dakota County last week, KTIV reports.

Dakota County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene on North Bluff Road on Aug. 15 at about 6:30 following a report of a rollover crash.

The deputies found that a car had crashed into a tree at that location.  A woman found inside the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, and was identified as 28-year-old Elizabeth Figueroa of Emerson, Nenbraska.  No one else was inside the car.
