Crash Alert: Man, 66, killed in plane collision near Pierce
NEAR PIERCE, NE – A 66-year-old man died as a result of a plane collision that happened 15 miles southwest of Pierce last Saturday, July 19.
According to KTIV, the plane collision happened on a farm field before 9 p.m. and warranted a response from Meadow Grove Fire and Rescue and the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
Upon arrival, authorities declared the man dead at the scene and have since identified him as Daniel Kuether.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are leading the investigation. No other details were reported at this time.
