Crash Alert: Deputies investigate deadly crash on Nebraska 79 near Prague

PRAGUE, NE – The Saunders County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal collision that occurred at Nebraska 79 and County Road T on Sunday afternoon, according to WOWT.

Rebekah Guilford, 25, was driving a gray Honda Civic north on Nebraska 79 when she strayed into the southbound lanes and hit a Lincoln MKZ operated by a 45-year-old man around 5:30 p.m.

First responders pronounced Guiolford dead at the scene. The Lincoln driver and one passenger were hospitalized in unknown condition.

Authorities do not believe impairment was a factor in the incident.
