LINCOLN, NE – According to WOWT, authorities arrested a suspected drunk driver after she drove the wrong way on I-80 and caused two crashes Saturday.
Heather Teschendorf, 34, was driving a Kia Spectra east in the westbound lanes of I-80 when she crashed into a Ford Eco and a semi-truck around 12 a.m.
Following the first collision, Teschendorf fled the scene of the accident and collided with another vehicle.
Authorities arrested Teschendorf and transported her and the driver of the Ford to an area hospital with minor injuries.
While at the hospital, Teschendorf spit on a trooper.
Authorities charged Teschendorf with resisting arrest, reckless driving, assault on a public safety officer with bodily fluid, failure to submit to a pretest, and leaving the scene of a crash.
