Crash Alert: 12 year-old dies following 2-vehicle crash near Benson Park

OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, a 12-year-old boy died Monday from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle collision at North 60th Street and Ames Avenue on June 12.

The driver of a pickup truck was heading east when they collided with a driver turning south from the westbound lanes around 4:30 p.m.

First responders transported the boy to an area hospital, where he died Monday.

The two drivers had minor injuries.

The Omaha Police Department is investigating the incident.
