Crash Alert: Hit-and-run driver fatally collides with man near Leavenworth

OMAHA, NE – According to WOWT, one man is dead following a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian collision near Leavenworth Tuesday morning.

A driver hit Frederick Miller IV, 42, near Pacific Street and Park Avenue on Tuesday around 4:45 a.m.

First responders transported Miller to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police believe Miller’s injuries were consistent with being hit by a vehicle.

The Omaha Police Department is investigating the incident.
